The Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church is a welcoming and affirming place for all children from birth through those who have completed fifth grade. Through a variety of methods and experiences, we help children discover their part in making God’s dream for the world come true by showing love, justice, and mercy to all the world. Our goal is to walk with children and their families through the stages of childhood, enabling them to be people God already knows them to be.

Checking your children into Sunday School?
You can check your children into Sunday School between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, which is located in the basement.
If you’re running late, you may drop your children off on the second floor in the Imagination Lab (Sunday School Room).

At First Baptist, we believe children belong in the “big” worship service.
Infants - Pre-K
When you attend First Baptist Church, your littles ones are welcome anytime in worship - but we also offer a nursery if you need some time for yourself.
Our Nursery staff are all trained in a variety of ways to ensure each and every child is in a protected, caring, and love place. There are always more than one volunteer in our nursery - and anyone volunteering must have completed and passed a background check.
