🚗 Parking
Parking is located behind the building. There is limited street parking available. You are welcome to enter our facility at the Sanctuary doors or on either side, but are encouraged to enter the main office doors nearest to the elevator on the southeast side.
🎵 Worship Style
Our Sunday worship service has a traditional feel to it with hymns accompanied by a piano and organ. Our singing is bolstered by our Sanctuary Choir as well. We incorporate a variety of musical styles like classical and bluegrass into our worship on occasion.

Navigating Your Sunday Arrival
01 Parking
First Baptist Church’s parking lot is directly behind the building at the corner of E Second St. and Maggard Pl. We rent the numbered spots out to college students on MSU’s campus, but on Sunday mornings, you’re invited to pick any spot you see available. If you’re feeling lucky, you might also find street parking on E Main Street in front of our Sanctuary.
02 Welcome
Once you’ve gotten parked, there are a variety of entrances you can choose to enter our building. Although that is the case, we encourage you to enter our facility near the elevator on the Maggard Pl. side of the building. The doors are marked “Office Entrance.” From there, you’ll be able to take the elevator to the Fellowship Hall and check your kiddos in to their Sunday School Class. If you’re coming for the worship hour, you can just go directly into the Sanctuary on the first floor.
03 Worship
At the heart of our common life together is a practice that has marked Christian communities for more than 2,000 years: the worship of God. When you arrive in the building, follow signs (and people) to the Sanctuary. Pick any pew you want and make it home for your friends, family, and kiddos. At First Baptist, we encourage any children above nursery age to attend worship and participate in the life of our church. Wiggles and giggles are celebrate here. Oh, and make sure to pick up a bulletin from one of our friendly volunteers!
